DESCRIPTION & CHARACTERISTICS
(Of the Electrodes manufactured using "N-13" Dry Flux) :
 
-  Electrode can be operated on AC as well as DC power source .
-  Welding can be done in almost all convenient positions.
-  Quite and stable arc.
-  Easy to strike and re-strike.
-  Excellent slag control and removal.
-  Minimum spatter loss.
-  Low smoke.
-  Defect free weld deposit with good mechanical properties.
 
DETAILS OF ELECTRODES MANUFACTURING USING "N-13" Dry Flux :
 
 Binder :  Potassium – Silicate
 Molecular Ratio :  2.80 to 3.20
 Specific Gravity :  350c Be (min.) at Room Temperature
   If required Sodium Silicate (Neutral Grade)
 Molecular Ratio : 2.9 to 3.20 & Specific Gravity 43oc Be (min.) at room  temperature, can be  substituted for maximum 20 % of Potassium  Silicate.
 If necessary a little water can be added.
 Binder Quantity :  22 to 25 % by weight of Dry Flux
 Coating Ratio :  1.5 (For Medium Coated Electrodes) (+) 0.05 mm of Coated Flux Diameter
 Drying Temperature Of Electrodes :  110oc to 120oc for one hour
 Blender / Mixer :  Roller type Muller System
 Core Wire Specification :  IS:2879 EQ-Rimming Quality preferred
